3rd Grade Homework
- Reading Homework- Each week your child will be responsible for reading 130 minutes. He/she will keep track of his/her time reading on a reading log that will be sent home on Tuesdays. The log will be due the following Tuesday. When your child returns his/her reading log completed and signed, he/she will receive a book buck that can can be spent at our school book store! Practicing reading at home is key to being a successful reader. Your child can read independently, out loud, or can take turns reading with someone in the family!
- Math Homework- Each week your child will also be responsible for practicing multiplication facts for 20 minutes. Your child will record these minutes on the back of the reading log.The quicker your child is at recalling a math fact, the easier math will be in and out of the classroom.
